Frequently Asked Questions
What is Queer Music Agency?
QMA is a New York City based music agency that exclusively represents queer artists.
As a full-service booking platform and agency, we represent talent across all genres while offering services including live bookings, brand partnerships, and consulting for artists, brands, and partners looking to authentically engage with queer talent and audiences.
The music industry often overlooks queer artists, which is why we’ve made it our mission to build a strong, sustainable community and create real opportunities for visibility and income. We work to bring new musical experiences to audiences while driving equal representation across venues, festivals, and brand campaigns.
Our goal is simple: empower queer artists to build lasting careers and make a living through their craft.
What services does QMA provide?
QMA provides full-service booking and artist support. This includes:
Live show booking for clubs, venues, festivals, and private events
Tour routing and planning
Brand partnerships and event activations
Press and promotional support for confirmed bookings
Strategic guidance on artist growth and positioning
Access to our network of venues, promoters, and community partners
We tailor our approach to each artist, and services may differ depending on the contract tier.

I reached out regarding representation. Why haven’t I heard back?
Thanks so much for reaching out! We get a lot of inquiries and take time to review each one carefully. If you haven’t heard back yet, it could be because we’re still reviewing submissions or your profile may not match our current roster needs.
Does QMA only represent queer artists?
Yes, QMA is all about uplifting queer artists, and our roster is proudly 100% queer. If you’re not part of the LGBTQ+ community but still want to work with us, our sister agency Looking Up Agency represents artists of all identities. For more information, please visit: Looking Up Agency
