DJ RAYVINO

About

Born and raised in Dorchester, Rayven — known professionally as DJ RAYVINO — is a Boston-based DJ and curator whose work lives at the intersection of radical joy, underground sound, and community liberation. With Honduran and African American roots, her sets are immersive and genre-fluid, moving from disco to footwork, club, and global electronic rhythms with intention and precision.

Rayvino views DJing as more than performance — it is practice. Sound becomes memory. Rhythm becomes connection. The dance floor becomes a site of possibility.

She has brought her electrifying sets to concert stages, museums, parks, and nightlife spaces, opening for nationally recognized artists including Rico Nasty, CupcakKe, TiaCorine, LustSickPuppy, Aaliyah’s Interlude, and Anicya. Her ability to warm up large rooms while maintaining cultural intention has made her a trusted support act for touring talent.

As a Black nonbinary femme, Rayvino intentionally creates spaces that prioritize dark-skinned Black trans femmes and marginalized communities. Through femme-centered events and collaborations with local creatives, she demonstrates that joy, rest, and celebration are not indulgences — they are revolutionary acts.

Her work is whimsical in feeling but serious in purpose: to ensure every room she touches feels affirming, powerful, and alive.
